Buhle Goslar is a fintech entrepreneur dedicated to developing and supporting technology solutions that drive customer empowerment and inclusive economic growth across Sub-Saharan Africa.
She currently serves as Chairperson and Independent Non-Executive Director of Lula, a South African SME-focused digital bank. Additionally, she is a Board Director of Aceli Africa, a platform focused on deploying catalytic capital for agriculture, and an Executive Committee (ExCom) member of CGAP, the World Bank's financial inclusion think tank.
Previously, Buhle was the CEO for Africa & Pakistan at JUMO, a leading Banking-as-a-Service fintech company. Her career spans leadership roles in commercial strategy, product development, consumer engagement, and sustainability at leading financial institutions, including Woolworths Financial Services, Barclays Wealth, and Investec Private Bank.
Buhle holds a BCom in Marketing from UNISA and an Executive MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town. She has also completed postgraduate management programs in Inclusive Finance, Digital Finance, and Social Impact at Harvard Business School, Tufts Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, and Oxford Saïd Business School.
In 2019, Buhle was named one of South Africa’s 'Inspiring Fifty Women in Technology.” She is a prominent leader in inclusive finance and was honored with the 2021 Accion Claugus Award for Advancing Financial Inclusion.
